Nature walks are wonderful for little boys and girls. It allows time to stretch legs and imaginations. On our walks, we often find many different things. On our last trip, we found animal prints and took pictures of them. Once we got home, we were able to research the prints and find out that they were made from Raccoons. They boys then drew the prints, the raccoon and noted where we found the prints in their field journals.

It is a great way to get our children to read and write. They also get the opportunity to add art into the lessons. Have a blessed day!
